MATS MURI
Mats Muri (f.1992) er dokumentarregissør og fotograf. Han studerer for tiden dokumentarregi ved Høgskolen i Lillehammer og uteksamineres våren 2019. Utenfor studiene har han vært involvert I flere prosjekter bade som regissør, fotograf og klipper. Debut-dokumentaren hans, Oslo Rats, vant beste dokumentar i studentkategorien på Nordic Docs 2018 og hans andre film The Future of Iraq vant beste kortdokumentar på Bergen Internasjonale Filmfestival (BIFF).

Mats Muri (b. 1992) is a documentary director and cinematographer. He is currently studying documentary directing at Lillehammer Universuty College where he will graduate in the spring of 2019. Besides studying, he has been involved in several projects as not only director but also cinematographer and/or editor. His debut documentary, Oslo Rats, won best documentary in the student category at Nordic Docs 2018. The Future of Iraq is his second film, and it won best short documentary at Bergen International Film Festival 2018.
THE FUTURE OF IRAQ (2018)
Ett av seks barn bor i dag i en krigssone. Dette er et møte med tre av dem, hvor de beskriver sine opplevelser av krig og det daglige liv. Filmen er satt i Irak, men kunne vært satt hvor som helst i verden.
One of six children today live in a war zone. This is a meeting with three of them, where they in simple terms describe their experiences of war and daily life. The film is set in Iraq, but could be set anywhere in the world.
